I LOST MY SON TO SUICIDE MAY 3, 2018. HE DID NOT HAVE ANY KIND OF LIFE INSURANCE. DUE TO HIS RECENT DIVORCE HE ONLY HAD $30.00 DOLLARS IN HIS CHECKING ACCOUNT AND WAS SO FAR IN DEPT HE WAS BEHIND ON EVERYTHING. INCLUDING AND I GUESS MOST IMPORTANT TO HIM HIS CHILD SUPPORT. I SAY THAT BECAUSE HE HAD PAPERS ON HIS DESK WHERE HE HAD RECENTLY REQUESTED HIS BENEFITS FROM SOCIAL SECURITY. AND OF COURSE, IT WAS MORE FOR HIS KIDS THAN HE COULD EVER GET CHAUGHT UP ON. ALTHOUGH I HATE TO EVEN THINK THAT IS THE CAUSE OF HIS SUICIDE IT ALL POINTED TO IT. ALONG WITH THAT WAS A DESK FULL OF BILLS AND A CHECKBOOK WITH $30.00 DOLLARS IN IT. NOW THAT’S MY STORE I WENT AS CHEAP AS I COULD WITHOUT DOING A DISGRACE TO MY SON AND IT WAS STILL $4,000.00 DOLLARS. I HAD TO SET UP PAYMENTS ON THAT, AND I HAVE HANDLED THAT AND MY OTHER BILLS UNTIL NOW. BUT DUE TO THREE UNSUSPECTED SURGERIES AND LOOKING AT TWO MORE. I HAVE FALLEN BEHIND ON ALL MY BILLS AND MOST ARE IN COLLECTIONS. INCLUDING HIS FUNERAL BILL AND THEY ARE REALLY HOUNDING ME. I ONLY OWE $350.00, AND THIS IS THE ONE BILL I DON’T WANT TO LET GO. COULD YOUR FOUNDATION POSSIBLY HELP ME WITH THIS? I AM ON A FIXED INCOME AND REALLY NEED THE HELP

Hi- I am at a loss. My brother completed on 12/20/19 and we do not have the money for a funeral. Is there anyone else who has gone through this and what did you do? We want to give him the proper burial he deserves and we are not getting many donations.
